With roaming zombies, interactive displays, trick-or-treating, food stalls, and a Halloween mini-market, this year’s event promises to be a spooktacular night for families.

Saskia Huismans, Events and Marketing Manager at the Village is eager to make this year’s Halloween bigger and better. With over 70 buildings to decorate, she’s calling on locals to join in the fun and help bring the village to life.

Halloween Haunt Competition

The popular Halloween Haunt Competition is back. It invites community groups, not-for-profit organisations, sporting clubs, and anyone else interested to choose an area or building to transform into a terrifying spectacle. Participants can dress up, scare visitors, compete for cash prizes, and use buildings exclusively for future events.

Local Resources

Last year’s winner, the Rotary Club of Caboolture, set the bar high with a gruesome hospital, complete with a screaming baby in the nursery. Huismans believes the competition is a great way to unite the community and create a memorable family experience.
