A man was shot during a home invasion in Bellmere in the early hours of Thursday morning, August 29, 2024. Queensland Police are currently on the hunt for three male suspects who fled the scene.
At around 1:20 AM, emergency services responded to reports of a shooting at a residence on Peggy Road. According to initial investigations, three unidentified men forcibly entered the home and opened fire on one of the male occupants before fleeing in a small black vehicle.
The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, was promptly transported to Caboolture Hospital. Hospital staff report that he is in stable condition. Unconfirmed reports suggest the man may have sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
